The Federal Government has launched a new plan to give older Australians better access to the internet.
The Broadband for Seniors initiative will spend $15 million over three years on 2,000 internet kiosks for community centres.
Federal Minister for Families and Community Services Jenny Macklin says pensioners are increasingly embracing the internet.
"We certainly know that more and more seniors do want to get online - some of them know that they need to improve their skills," she said.
"That's what these internet kiosks are all about, helping them do that, this is [a] way for them to really follow their interests."
